Announcements and Encouragement

“Saturday Sing” originally set for Oct. 5 is postponed for the time being. The intention was to create space for people to share songs that had been on their heart.

Apparently, folks still need a little more time to get ready for the big event. We hope to add it back into the church calendar as soon as possible.

The foundation of the Church isn’t our ability to schedule events … or get people to participate … or even follow a specific schedule.

Our foundation is Jesus, and here’s what I love about Him: He meets us WHERE we are, welcomes us AS we are, and then leads us to BECOME more of who He’s called us to be.

And sometimes that means plans need to change.

SO, I look forward to circling back to this at a more opportune time and when we do, hopefully, we’ll get more people who are excited to participate.

New Song This Week

This Sunday we’ll introduce a beautiful new song that is a perfect complement to our new series on the life of David.

It’s called “Monday Morning Faith” and it’s a powerful reminder that our walk with Jesus was never meant to be a Sunday thing; it’s an every day thing.

I hope you’ll take a moment to listen to the song on YouTube and prepare your heart to worship with us

And that brings me to a word of encouragement

When you feel yourself tossed about by the winds and seas of change, remember:

He who calmed the sea still calms hearts today. Trust Him. Talk to Him. Worship Him.

And when you do, here’s what you’ll find. Though uncertainty may still be uncomfortable … it doesn’t have to steal your peace.

Love in Christ,
~Pastor Phillip
