We Can All Be Neighborly, Neighbors
Hi Friends, Phillip Here.
As I’ve driven around the county the past several days, I’ve been struck by two things.
First, it’s been a sobering reminder of just how much devastation a hurricane can do, and how the everyday flow of life can be violently changed in an instant.
Second, though I’ve been so blessed to see how people come together to help when it really matters, how in a culture that is still so divided in so many ways, when it counts, neighbors are there for each other.
On Being Neighborly
It reminds me of the story Jesus told of the Good Samaritan, how he was “a neighbor” to a man in need. We can be that neighbor, too!
Thank you for BEING those kinds of neighbors in Cape Coral and beyond not just in this season of trial, but in so many ways even before now.
Let’s come together this Sunday and celebrate, shall we?
Blessing our world with you,
~Pastor Phillip
