Celebrate Women on Mission
It’s almost Mother’s Day!
Consider this your “final warning” in case you haven’t gotten a gift or made reservations at her favorite restaurant! And in case you are wondering, it is not enough to celebrate your mom every day, she deserves her own holiday as well.
This weekend we will be celebrating some amazing women here at New Hope! On Saturday our ladies are getting together for a Ladies Tea for fellowship and encouragement from God’s Word.
In worship, we will celebrate some incredible women of faith out of the Exodus story. We even have a woman of faith visiting us from the Mission Field!
Melissa is in town for a few days visiting her family and church family. She has served faithfully in her country for over 10 years without seeing any salvations, but God was working the whole time in the hearts of those around her. In the last 6 months, a young mother, an entire family, and a group of 15 men have all come to faith in Jesus Christ!
Her country was locked down for over a year due to Covid. God used that time to soften the hearts of these new believers and the new believers used that time to research Jesus on social media. In a closed country where it is not possible to openly share the Gospel, God used a pandemic to find a way into the hearts of many new converts!
Women have been at the cutting edge of the Mission of God since the beginning of time. Join me in celebrating our Women on Mission!
Grateful for you,
~Pastor David
