Community Service Opportunity
Hey New Hope Family!
What a blessing it was to be with you all this past Sunday when we talked about Getting Back to the Basics of Christian Life. I spoke about having an appropriate fear of God, hearing and obeying God, and teaching biblical truths to our kids and new believers.
We talked about the Hebrew word "Shema," which means to hear and do. One of the many blessings that God has called us to hear and do is to serve our community! Serving our community can be done in many different ways.
How to Support Lee County Foster and Adoption Families
In September, we have the opportunity to serve our Lee County foster and adoption families. We are partnering with the organization Donate4Kidz. They encourage and empower foster and adoption families.
On Saturday, September 23, we will be hosting a Foster/Adoption Appreciation Luncheon. This will be a great time to connect with the foster and adoption families in our community.
This year's theme celebrates the heroes of today, such as police officers, emergency medical technicians and firefighters. The event will include bounce houses, face painting, free lunch, snow cones, and more!
