How B-Track Revved Me Up

We hear a lot about Belong Groups here at New Hope Church. And for good reason: They are great opportunities for us to engage in community and to spur each other on as spiritual beings. 

One such group is “B-Track,” a Belong Group I joined in April 2022, just a few weeks after the Holy Spirit led me to New Hope. I discovered a deeper spiritual self. I examined how God is working in my life and ways to be sure I am on the lookout for signs when the Holy Spirit is working through me. I discovered spiritual gifts and how I might use them to become involved in New Hope. I also unearthed areas that are challenges for me and how I might address them. And I discussed all of this with complete strangers in the group! Quite the adventure! 

I have since joined other Belong Groups and the “first impressions” hospitality team, as well as lending a hand with a gift God has given me for “back-end” website work.

You don't have to be new to the church, either. B-Track is for anyone who wants to get a better handle on how New Hope is the place to become a fully engaged follower of Jesus. 

The thought of attending a Belong Group – especially your first one, like B-Track – can seem like a big step. Scary, maybe. But I can say with certainty it helped me “walk on water,” with no doubt that God is there for me in a big way.
