We're Growing!

Why do things have to change?

I remember asking this question as my children began to grow out of the “my dad can do anything” stage into the “does dad really understand anything?” stage.

New Hope Church is in a stage a lot like this right now! God is making us healthier as we “grow up together in Him”. More people are coming and staying — finding their way into the heart and mission God has called New Hope Church to fulfill. 

To keep up with this precious (as in “rare”) growth, we will be adding a second Sunday morning service —9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. starting February 12, giving us room for twice as many people to worship, twice as many Sunday Belong Groups, and twice as many opportunities to serve.

Of course, this means we will need twice as many leaders to move things along. What an exciting challenge! 

New Opportunities to Join God’s Mission

With the blessing of growth, comes many new opportunities to join God in His mission. God may be calling you to participate in the new 11 a.m. worship service or to begin serving for the first time. Or He may be calling you to attend one service and serve during the other.

As we move forward, God will continue to ask more of us. It is His way of demonstrating our dependence on Him to take part in a Kingdom-size mission.  Whether you’ve seen many seasons at New Hope Church or you are just getting planted, it is good to know that God has planted us together for His purpose and our good.

Like Pastor David always asks, “Are you with me?”
