NW Cape Coral Campus -- Giving Our Lives to His Work

New Hope Family,

A few years ago, I was challenged in the ministry where I served. We were not reaching new people. We had at one time, but we had peaked. I had no idea had to regain momentum.

So, I asked God if He cared about reaching people who do not yet know Him.

As I prayed, I began to see His heart for reaching people everywhere I looked – both in the Bible and everywhere else.

  • Empty lots next to beautiful homes with manicured yards reminded me of empty lives God wanted to inhabit and develop.

  • Every Scripture from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21 are stories of God creating people in His image to have relationship with them. It is also the story of mankind’s rebellion and God’s relentless work to reconcile us back to Himself by removing the obstacle of sin through Jesus.

Jesus said it most clearly; “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  (Matthew 28:18-20)

This may be one of the least obeyed commands of the church in America. I’m so grateful God is leading us, through our Pastor, to join God at work and give our lives to His Work of bringing people to Himself.
