May God Open Doors for Our Mission Team

Hey New Hope Family!

Our Mission Team is now in Panama, being the eyes, hands and feet of Jesus! The meetings, support letters, fundraisers, and lots of prayer come down to this week.

While preparing for this trip, I was reminded of the words in Acts Chapter 4:

  • Peter and John are in front of religious scribes who were disgruntled about Peter and John praying and healing a lame beggar (Acts 3:6-8)

  • The scribes were even more disgruntled about them preaching the gospel and having around 5,000 believe in Christ alone (Acts 4:4)

  • While hearing these accusations, Peter gets to Verse 12: "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Living a Life on God’s Mission Is to Live Life Missionally

Church family, we adore and love the call to a missional life because in the name of Jesus the lame beggar was healed, in the name of Jesus the 5,000 were healed and in the name of Jesus we are saved as well. It is with this belief that we arise and go to Panama believing that many more will believe in the name above every other name as their savior, Jesus Christ.

I challenge you to set an alarm for 8 a.m. every day next week and pray for our team, our missionary partners, and the people of Panama.

Pray for the country of Panama and the estimated 78 percent of those who don't proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior.
