Step Onto the Water

Have you felt confident and excited in your spiritual walk? You’re following where the Holy Spirit is leading. You’re tithing and serving. This always flows over to your personal life too, right? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the proper term for this now is #winning.

You feel like you are walking on water with unshakable faith. Then, out of nowhere, you are hit with a crushing wave that knocks you down and pulls you under. You feel like you are drowning. #whatishappening

When we are strong in our faith and obey where God is calling us to move, it makes the enemy angry. He does not want us on fire for God, to be a light in the darkness … and especially not winning souls for Jesus.

We are a threat to his plan. In desperation, he attacks. Chaos, strife, pain, finances – whatever he can use.

Say ‘Yes!”

We must be strong in our faith, ready to say “yes,” and be alert.

I Peter 5:8

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Can I tell you a secret? Many times I have felt called to move, yet I feared the repercussions. The thought of dealing with a possible attack from the enemy brought immediate exhaustion. Is it worth it? The

answer is “yes!”

Regardless of where God is asking you to go, do not let the enemy intimidate or scare you out of obedience. One of my pastors recently said, “Step onto the water, it will hold you.” I found this to be so simple, yet so powerful and encouraging. Step out in obedience and faith. God is holding you. His plan is

great. You will never drown. God is faithful.

Can I get an #amen?

Philippians 1:6

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good

work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.
